How to root Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (GT-I9082)

Now download Odin for PC:

PHASE-I

Now Follow the instructions below carefully:

• Switch off your phone and boot into download mode (vol down + home + power) simultaneously and press vol up to proceed to download mode.
• Open odin in pc that you downloaded from link, there you will see a button PDA click on PDA.

• Locate the file you downloaded from link the CWM touch zip and click open.
• Make sure only 'Auto reboot' and 'F.Reset Time' is checked.
•  Click start, during installation please do not remove any cable from your PC, once complete odin should say 'PASS' and your phone will reboot.

Congratulations now you are having CWM recovery in your phone and now you can easily root your phone by installing IRoot from the above link.

PHASE-II

• Install iRoot_1.7.9.10454 that you downloaded on your PC.
• Once the installation is complete by following the procedure come on screen.
• Connect your device to the PC again.
• IROOT will automatically detect your device model.
• Now click on Root and wait for a message that will say Root successfully.
• Your device will restart, if not restart it and enjoy the features of rooted phone.
